I bought these as a gift and they were very well received. Soft. Absorbent. Definitely the favorites of the three or four different types I sent.

Yes these towels are heavy but as a "bigger" guy it is nice to have a towel I can wrap up in. We have used them once and they are absorbant. We do like them.

This towel is really thick. Not just thick towel thick but blanket thick. If your power goes off you could use it to keep warm. It feels heavy to lift and weighs close to 3 pounds. So unless you want something that thick, be warned. The problem with such a thick towel is that if you use it after your morning shower by the next day it won't be dry, will start to sour and you'll have to wash it every time you use it.

But it is a nice thick bath sheet.

This is the problem with amazon, which normally I love. You can't pick up a towel and feel how thick it is. So it's hard to know if it is for you.
